Best practice for recording rework in Advanced Manufacturing
Looking for best practice to log any rework that occurs on a work order:
Advanced Manufacturing is enabled and we clock against work orders via a tablet interface. If for example a worker is clocked on a work order for an assembly that has three different operations and each operation has a cycle time of 1 min, any additional work that is done outside of the standard process for that specific assembly should be recorded as rework.
We can’t seem to find a good way of recording any rework that occurs, so we can track our rework cost. Is creating a downtime code and reporting on the downtime reasons the only option?
