Transforming Requisitions into PO through Script

Hi Guys,
A tricky long shot question :/

Were any of you happened to find a way to reproduce the Requisition Orders screen back end behavior into script?
Meaning, transforming multiple requisition into one PO?

Even 1 requisition to PO is not a supported transformation.

You’d have to build a custom suitelet for selecting your Vendor, Requisitions and items., and probably a scheduled script to do all the actions – you’d then do the transform action on one Requsition – and close the others and do a custom field joining to your transform on the first. Then you’d have to add lines using your script from the now closed requisitions.

Not exactly a small undertaking, but not so complex it couldn’t be done.

Thanks for the detailed response. Yeah, that’s the plan. Was just trying to make sure there is no “hack” to utilize the NetSuite native behavior in order to skip all those developments.
It’s also a bit more complex than that, since it also has to support partial orders, meaning a custom “Quantity Ordered” column has to be managed, basically replicating the whole NetSuite relations, so single transformation is not needed as well.   Although it’s not relevant anymore, but just for general knowledge, were you able to perform a transform on a single Requisition to PO? It’s not a documented transformation and when trying to do it, it throw an error of unsupported transformation.
