One thing I have done is to create a custom transaction line field exclusively for sorting line items in the PDF. You can define a formula using LPAD, for example: LPAD({field}, 5, ‘0’) to generate values like: 00001, 00002, and 00100, which would then sort correctly in the PDF. You don’t have to display the sorting field, it can just be used for ordering a list.
