Quick One – Item Receipt

When I open up an Item Receipt in edit mode, each item has the “Received” box checked by default.   How do I change it so that it defaults to unchecked?

Also there’s an accounting preference for this under order management.

DEFAULT ITEMS TO ZERO RECEIVED/FULFILLED

Note that this would impact both item receipts and item fulfillment. 

You would *not* want that script running on edit (I’m guessing you meant create)- any time a user edited a receipt, they would need to update the received items again. I would *STRONGLY* recommend you do not do that.

I don’t believe there is a setting for this, but it could be achieved with a client script unchecking them on pageInit trigger.

The code would look something like:

var rec = context.newRecord;

var lineCount = rec.getLineCount({sublistId: 'item'})
for(var i = 0; i < lineCount; i++){

rec.selectLine({sublistId: 'item', line: i});

rec.setCurrentSublistValue({sublistId: 'item', fieldId: 'itemreceive', value: false});

rec.commitLine({sublistId: 'item'});

}

The guy above is right, you’d want to be super careful about the context you run this script in. Glad he found a setting for it!
