Partner/Customer Address Sublist Fields for Conditions in Workflow
Can an entity record’s address information be sourced for workflow conditions if the workflow is tied to a Sales Order?
I have tried sourcing the Partner record fields, the Customer record fields, and all regular fields, but I don’t see any part of the address available for conditions.
In this case, we just want to compare the country of the shipper to the country of the customer, then set a shipping method accordingly.
Is there a way to do this without scripting?
Most sublist data is not available to Workflows at this time (2019.1). Only Transaction Item sublists are currently available. More are in development for future releases.
Right. That’s what I thought, but I didn’t know if there was another way to access even just the country. Thanks, Eric!
