Netsuite Custom Field Access Issue

Hi Folks,

I have created a custom field, which pulls the data from a saved search, and given access to employees based on their role. But for some reason they cannot see the value on the field. I have given access of saved search and field to the specific employees. Any idea how can I fix the issue ?

Can you see the contents of the custom field when you open the entity on which you placed the field? In that case it must be a permission issue. Do the users concerned have rights on saved searches (through their roles!), and do they have rights to the content presented in the custom field (through their roles)?
