Installing SuiteQL Query Tool
Hello,
I am new to Netsuite and I am focused on extracting data for Analystics.
I have been reading blogs from Tim Dietrich and I would like to install the SuiteQL Query Tool he has built to query data directly. I would appreciate it if you can you please point me to documentation which helps me with installing custom Suitelets?
I have already connect via ODBC and been able to look at the tables exposed via NetSuite2.com data source.
Thank you.
Hi
I have downloaded the script file from the link provided by Tim Dietrich and manage to install successfully the SuiteQL Query Tool following the standard process for deploying a script.
The link is available in Tim’s blog: https://timdietrich.me/blog/netsuite-suiteql-query-tool-suitelet/
He also mentioned there that if you have questions about the script or about SuiteQL, please post to the NetSuite Professionals Slack Community
I hope this helps.
Thanks
Edo
@MP @Levans – You just need to download Tim’s file, for simplicity, load the file into the File Cabinet, then create the script record and attach it to the file. Once this is complete, you can create the deployment from the script record you created. Deploying a Suitelet will automatically create the URL, on the script deployment record which you can use to access the tool.
I found this pdf doc which explained in simple terms how to install SuiteQL.

Any chance you can provide details on how you installed this? I’ve tried dozens of times and things without success. When I click the URL in the script record, it just gives me an error.
