How to source value on a custom column field selectively?
Hi all, we have a custom column field on SO that sources its value from the Item record of the same type (List). Is it possible to source the value in only certain cases? For e.g. we want to ensure the custom column field first checks the customer’s category-if it is value A, then source the value on the custom column field from the item record AND if customer Category is value B then do not source any value on the custom column field – the field must be left blank in that case

Thanks Sam. I will check this but at first glance, I am unable to filter by choosing customer under “Filter Using” (nothing comes up there) The list/record field is a list which is used by the custom item field. On SO custom column field, I choose the list/record as the list that the custom item field uses. And I do the source list as “Item” and sourced from “field name”.
