RE: Update Contact Record Using Online Form

Is it possible for the recipient of an Email campaign to update their Contact record online?

NetSuite help talks about using Online Forms to create new Customer and associated Contact records, but not about updating them. However in other sentence they say you can use online forms “to allow your customers to update their information”…but is this on the Customer record only?

I have followed all the documentation but every time I use the link and submit the form, NetSuite creates a new Lead and Contact record.

Would love to hear if anyone has this working.

Online form is for creating new records by posting data to Netsuite, you cannot access already existing records through external form – user needs access right and need to be authenticated. Your best option would be to use customer portal option and allow users to update their own contact details.
