RE: “-system-” updates to custom role permissions?
It is my understanding that you should always create a custom role instead of using the standard role. The logic is that when updates to roles are made by NetSuite, those changes won’t reflect in your custom roles unless you make the changes manually.
Sooo….I have all custom roles. However, there are several custom roles that show updates to permissions made by User = “-system-“.
Does anyone know why the “-system-” would make permission changes to custom roles?
What sort of changes being made by -System-?
Here are a few examples:
- Address List in Search: None -> Full
- Bulk Processing Submissions: None -> View
- Entity-Subsidiary Relationship: None -> View
