RE: Saved Search that shows margin post discount
Hi everyone!
I am attempting to pull all transactions which have had a discount applied and show the resulting margin (gross profit%) both before discount and after discount.
I think it would need to show the total transaction amount before and after the discount in order to calculate the reduction in margin but I am certainly open to other ideas.
I am not sure how to get all of this in one report/search or even if it is possible.
The challenge is that the item being discounted is on one line and the price adjustment (discount) is on the following line of the invoice. Is there a way to combine the two lines of information and calculate the new margin?
