I am working on a saved search for Forecasting Cash flow in the company in case of Sales Orders.

For this search only the balance of the Sales order(before taxes) should be displayed less any ‘Customer Deposits’ (as applying transaction)

Eg: If the value of a SO is $15k(less of taxes), and there has been a customer deposit of $5K, would like to display the Net payable as $10K.

Tried a couple of instances case whens, but getting ‘ERROR-Invalid Expressions’.(screenshot below)

Is there a simpler way to do this?

RE: Saved Search for Forecasting Cashflow on Sales OrdersThis formula worked for me. I think the main thing to update here is the {applyingtransaction} to {applyingtransaction.type}. I hope this helps! If so, please upvote 🙂
