RE: Record Hazardous Materials by Category
Is their functionality to record Hazardous materials by Category in NetSuite or would I have to create a custom field?
I feel like at some point in the past I’ve seen a “hazardous material” checkbox on an item record that worked in tandem with UPS or Fedex integration (can’t remember which)
However, I can’t find the field in my demo accounts. (which may not be utilizing the integrations)
I would suggest a custom field for this – and maybe playing around with the UPS or Fedex integrations.
Yeah, at my last place we had to make custom fields for Hazardous Materials types and a custom field for Lithium-Ion Battery types to pass that information to shippers. Wasn’t a standard field that I was aware of, but to fair, that was like 5-6 versions ago now.
