RE: Item Workbook – Inventory Location Data

Answered

Using the new Analytic Workbooks, for an Item workbook can you still access Inventory Location data? I am not seeing the usual join/fields anywhere.

Thanks

In the Dataset:

Under Item, scroll down to Locations (note the ‘s’). From there you should find all the standards including:

Location    (use to get location name)

Quantity Available/On hand/On Order/ Etc.

In results, the column headers will look like “Locations: Location”, “Locations: Quantity Available”, Etc.

~Sorry I am not seeing this in my account. I only see Location but not the Locations you specify.~

Edit : under further inspection, I see this option available in one of my accounts but not the original one I was querying.

Edit2:  Appears to be due to the ADVANCED ITEM LOCATION CONFIGURATION  setting being enabled

Interesting. We don’t use that setting. Nice catch though.

@dbarnett did you end up finding a solution given that setting is enabled? Trying to do the same thing and having the same problem as you.

I don’t see the quantity available or on hand by locations like you mentioned. Has something changed or how would I get the location specific quantity data using a dataset? We’ve got Advanced Item Location Configuration enabled, so I see the “locations” join in an item dataset, but there is nothing in there for quantity.

Same here.  We have this feature enabled but the locationS joinable field is missing from the dataset UI. Any updates on this problem?
