RE: How to show date stamp on financial reports
As part of our controls and audit, we need the ability to show the date and time a particular financial report was ran. Normally in other ERP systems, reports include a date stamp showing when the report was ran. How can we do this in Netsuite?
For our auditors, I take a screenshot of the UI (with filters expanded) with total results number showing and the date (on my computer) in the bottom right. They also usually want a screenshot of the criteria as well. Then I throw that into a separate tab and they validate the total results number against the exported excel data in the other tab. Nothing is ever perfect, there’s always a way to fake things, and auditors are never happy, so tell them that’s what you can do for them, otherwise you’re open to their suggestions (of which they won’t have any, so I guess they have to accept yours, don’t they?).
