RE: eCommerce fee
Hi everyone, I’m new on Netsuite and I have a problem
My scenario, Ecommerce to Netsuite
I work with Shopify not integrated with Netsuite, so I have to enter the order manually as cash sale to undeposited funds until I get the money from the eCommerce platform, and then I make the deposit when I have transferred the money from Shopify to my bank account
but the total transferred is not equal to the total of the orders because there are eCommerce fees.
Example
ORDER $100
I will receive 97, because of the ecommerce’s fee
what shoud I do in this case?
thanks
Hey Caio!
Shopify offers a ‘Payout’ report that summarizes the fees. You can create a ‘Deposit’ record to deposit those cash sales and then account for the fees as cash back.
The system is pretty smooth but also hard to track which orders were paid out, or were disputed. The company I work for (Celigo) offers a seamless integration between Shopify and NetSuite and automates the hassle of recording sales in NetSuite and also reconciling the cash sales/fees that I described above.
