RE: Client Script Replacement in SuiteScript 2.1

Hi, does anyone know what the client script has been replaced with in SuiteScript 2.1?

I tried adding a client script with 2.1 and got the error below. I guessed it was maybe replaced with a “Scriptlet”, but when I tried adding that as the script type, I got another error for that.

“Failed to validate script file: Unsupported script type “ClientScript” provided for @NScriptType. Supported script types for SuiteScript Version 2.1 are [[SCHEDULED, MAPREDUCE, SCRIPTLET, RESTLET, USEREVENT, SDFINSTALLATION, TESTPLUGIN, BUNDLEINSTALLATION, PORTLET, MASSUPDATE, PLUGINTYPEIMPL, ACTION]].”

Due to the inherent inconsistency of supported client browser environments, SuiteScript 2.1 is not yet supported for client scripts. You cannot upload client scripts annotated with @NApiVersion 2.1 or containing language specific to ES.Next.
