RE: Gross Margin Report

I am looking for a Gross Margin report that uses the Item Fulfillment for it’s cost and not the Est.Cost from the Gross Profit Feature. We have found those to be inaccurate and do not work with Assemblies.
I haven’t found a way to link the Invoice and Item Fulfillments together to get this info. The applied to and applying fields don’t link these document type together.

Your best bet is to do a saved search that includes invoices and item fulfillments and separate it out into columns with formula columns like
decode({type},'Invoice',{Amount},0))
This will take some trial and error to get right, and may involve multiple case or decode statements to get just the right combination.
I don’t know much about decode yet but this will give me a good start. Thank you for you help.
