creating a saved search that returns items without bins
I am trying to create a saved search that returns same functionality as the binputaway worksheet returns:
i.e – returns items with no bins , I am using search on item – & adding on the creiteria to return only items with qty on hand that their Inventory Detail : Bin Number is none – it returns some items that are truley were not put away to any bin. but also items that are on bins & no reason they returned.
how can I crate a search that will return the same items that are returned on a bin putaway wroksheet?
Hi
I expect it’s the none thing, as I’ve seen that be a little unreliable.
I’d probably do a formulanumeric criteria and perhaps instead of Inventory Detail use Bin on Hand. The formula would be something like CASE WHEN NVL({binonhand.available},0) =0 THEN 1 ELSE 0 END. And put the criteria as ‘equal to 1’.
If that doesn’t work, it could be a summary/aggregation issue, where you’d need a summary criteria.
If that’s the case, you’d need to remove bin from the result columns, or represent in a single row using formula text with maximum and the formula NS_CONCAT(binonhand.bin).
You’d then sum and group your results.
Then you could have a criteria of SUM(binonhand.available) is 0.
I’ve just scratched out those ids, so they can’t be used directly.
Thanks
Paul
