You should use Bin Put away upon receiving a purchase order. After item receipt is completed and items are placed into an inbound staging bin, they will show up in the bin put away function in SCM mobile. This tells your receiving team or material handlers how many need “put away.” This allows them to move quantities from inbound staging to the desired storage location or multiple locations, and it will keep track of quantities as tasks are completed.

Bin transfer is just storage to storage, example being moving something from the top shelf of your racks to another rack.
