SuiteTalk SOAP Services Or Restlet(vendor creation)

Answered

Hi All,

Which is the best approach(planning for Product Design) to create vendor’s,Customers..etc  in a standard way in Netsuite 2.0

  1. whether i should go with SuiteTalk SOAP Services(built in services).
  2. or Should i go with Restlet’s
  3. and can u differentiate the advantages one over the other.

Thank You

You actually have three options. RESTlets, REST Web Services and SOAP Web Services. With that, please see the attached image to get a better view of the advantages and disadvantages.

To be honest, I personally use the new REST web services since it is in JSON which makes your coding a lot easier while leveraging NetSuite’s standard functionality and you don’t need to write something in SuiteScript
