Sending a Flyer in a Campaign

Our marketing team designed an advertisement that we want to send as an email to all of our customers using campaigns, but it looks like we can only send templates that have been HTML coded…is there anyway to maybe upload the advertisement to a template?

Hey Kayla, we use Netsuite Marketing for a lot of our marketing campaign management.

The best way I found was to actually publish the document online with our InDesign account. This meant that we could create a nice looking button inline the email which linked to the published document. It also allows you to track the click-thru rate and which links were clicked within the email itself while keeping the email size down for sending.

You could do the same, or alternatively upload the document to the file cabinet, make it accessible without sign in and then use the URL from the file cabinet to give the email recipients access to the file via button as mentioned above.  Feel free to contact me if you have any q’s regarding the marketing platform in Netsuite in general.

Hi Thomas – thank you for your response! So are you suggesting that instead of having the actual document visible right away when opening, the email itself provides a link to the document?

Hey Kayla,

That would be the best option in my opinion. The only alternative would be that you could convert the flyer pdf into a PNG and that may allow it to be inline the email. You will likely be limited to the size of the png file meaning you may lose image quality and detail on the flyer itself.

Let me know, if it’s any help – I can put a link here for an example of one I have done previously.
