Saved Search – Query Parameter to default filters

Answered

Is there a way to pass a query parameter in a URL to pre-define filters on URL load?  I need to create several defaulted views and wanted to try this out to match some internal dashboards.

Yes, this is definitely possible. For example, I have an Item Saved Search with an available filter “Inventory Location”. I can set the available filter with query parameter like

https://system.netsuite.com/app/common/search/searchresults.nl?searchid=<searchId>&Item_INVENTORYLOCATION=<inventoryLocationId>

The easiest way I have found to figure out what to use for the query parameter is to add an available filter for the field, select to show it in the filter region of the search and then run the search and change the filter value. Have a look at the url when the page reloads, and you should be able to figure out which parameter is used for the column you want to filter.
