OBDC driver

Hi,

I am trying to access the data through the OBDC driver to excel, i am trying to extract the data in the table salesOrder, i always get the error message : cannot retrieve metadata. or that he can not find my table.

Does someone already experienced this error ? or issue ? i can’t find a guide anywhere.

Thank you in advance

There are two different data sources, NetSuite.com and NetSuite2.com, but neither of them contains a table named salesOrder.  In NetSuite.com, Sales Orders are in the Transactions table, filtered by

Transaction_TYPE = 'Sales Order'
  In NetSuite2.com, Sales Orders are in the Transaction table, filtered by
TYPE = 'SalesOrd'

It is important to verify which data source you are using, as it affects how you will query the data.  Both have different schemas for the exact same data.  The table name and the correct filter vary, depending upon whether you connect to NetSuite.com or NetSuite2.com.

Based upon that error, you are likely in NetSuite.com, and would therefore need to use the table name Transactions (with an s at the end), and the Transaction_Type = ‘Sales Order’ filter applied, otherwise you will get all transactions, not just the sales orders.
