File Cabinet Links in Bulk Merge Emails

I want to add a (static) link that is the URL for downloading a specific file from the file cabinet, so that when a user clicks that link, the file downloads (assuming they’re logged in or it’s available without login).  When I grab a file cabinet mediaitem’s URL and put it into a normal email (say in gmail) I can give this link a descriptive display text and put the URL in the path and everything work great.  When I try to do this in a NetSuite bulk merge email and then I click the link in the resulting email, I get an error like the one shown.  I can see that NetSuite is changing the URL that ultimately gets emailed out from the actual URL I copied and pasted to that URL in the error, but I don’t understand why or how to prevent this from happening.  I’ve read the “Including URLs in Email Templates” help article and a number of related ones, and tried like 20 different iterations of things suggested, but I still can’t get this to work. What gives?  How do I make this work?
