Applying Existing Customer Deposits to New Customer Invoices

I have existing Customer Deposit transactions, and I would like to apply these transactions to new Customer Invoices. I have tried to do this with a CSV import, but I’m unable to link the Customer Deposit to the new invoice. Any workarounds you’ve discovered?

Im not sure if you can do this via a csv import. SuiteCloud Supported Records or the more specific Supported Record Types for CSV Import should help with what you can and cannot do with csv imports.

From the ui, you can do this at the Sales Order level. Set the Sales Order field of the Customer Deposit to the sales order of the invoice. CSV Imports don’t support Customer Deposits.

From the ui, you can do this at the Invoice Level by creating a Deposit Application by clicking the apply button on the Customer Deposit. CSV Imports don’t support Deposit Applications.

From the ui, you can do this at the Customer Payment Level by setting values on the deposits sublist of the Customer Payment. CSV Imports don’t support the deposits sublist for Customer Payments.

Thank you, Battk, but I would like to avoid using the UI because I’m dealing with thousands of transactions.

Start looking at other tools. Programatic tools like SuiteScript or SuiteTalk should be able to handle your task. SuiteFlow might for the sales order field on the customer deposit.
