Why does the same item show up twice on NSPOS?

Why does the same item show up twice on NSPOS? We have an issue where a single item in Netsuite ERP shows up with 2 options at NSPOS. Does anyone know how we fix this so all we have to do is scan like our other items? With these specific issue items, when we scan them 2 options come up and you have to select one to add the item to the transaction.
