Update Item Locations via upload
Hi!
I have managed to import a list of 40-odd new inventory items into Netsuite, however I did not include the locations that these items will be available in.
What is the best way to add existing locations to these new inventory items via import? I have tried but failed multiple times 🙁
Are you using some sort of advanced item/location configuration? You don’t need to import locations for items if you are using a basic setup. I assume you already searched the help pages in Netsuite if you are using advanced?

I don’t believe so.
In the Purchasing/Inventory tab of the item page there are no Locations for the new items:
Whereas the existing items have locations:
Sounds like a subsidiary problem? Did you upload the item with a difference subsidiary than those locations?
Yes, that is what happened. Didn’t include children in my upload!
