Transfer Order custom workflow change status to rejected

I am trying to get the custom transfer order approval workflow as we wanted to have a feature of adding a rejection reason for the approver. While I got the approval part working, I am somehow not able to change the order status to ‘Rejected’. The status changes to ‘Pending Fulfilment’ when I change the field ‘Order Status’ as expected but the status of ‘Rejected’ is not valid for this field and nothing happens if I change the status of ‘Approval Status’ field to ‘Rejected’ and the document stays at ‘Pending Approval’.

If someone has already worked on this, please advice on how to change the status to ‘Rejected’ within custom workflow.

Alternatively, if there is another way to allow the approver to add a rejection reason before rejecting, that can also be implemented in place of this workflow.

If you changed the approval status to Rejected in the workflow and it’s still not working: navigate to the Transfer Order that was supposed to change to rejected. Go to tab System Information > Workflow History. Check to see if the workflow executed on the record. If you see “no records to show”, your workflow did not execute. If it executed, check the log to see if the transfer order met your criteria to execute. Hope this helps.
