Tracking completion of internal processes involving multiple users


Is there a NetSuite feature that is best equipped to track an internal process flow with tasks/steps moving between multiple users? For example, when we have a lead or prospect that needs to be converted to a customer, we would like to track tasks and email messages associated with this process, in the order of the departmental touches e,g, Sales tasks > Accounting tasks (upon Sales completion) > Customer Service (upon Accounting completion)

We have been using Support Cases to accomplish this and other internal workflows, but wondering if there are any alternatives.

Other than system notes or workflow logs, then no. Setting datetime stamps in custom fields is the usual method I’d employ.
