System for sweeping Invoice .pdf’s from Email into Netsuite
Hello,
Would the community know a system or way to sweep accounts payable invoice .pdf’s
from a shared service email box and import them into Netsuite.
I am thinking there might be a third party software that can help do this but unsure.

I use Tray.io for this task since they have an “email trigger”. You would use Tray’s PDF Helper tool to extract the data. I use their CSV Helper tool to convert files into json and import the invoices into NetSuite. Tray is able to apply logic to the fields to do type conversion and date correction before importing so it is more capable than the native CSV template import inside NetSuite.
They are an ETL solution that is not as drag and drop as Celigo but with a more granular approach with debugging capabilities. We use it in lieu of building the integrations directly in NetSuite. Beyond that, I’ve used bill.com and receiptbank for OCR to bill importing but they lacked or charge per line for invoice detail imports.

Great, I’m glad I could help. I’m not in the AP business but like any business, we have many invoices and want to capture the detail level we need to accurately track costs.
