Supplier edit permission issue

Hello Experts,

I am trying to adjust permissions on a custom role that is based on accounting centre. I wanted to adjust permissions for the List>Supplier permission in such a way that the user should just be able to edit the existing supplier but not able to create new. However, if I select ‘Edit’ or ‘Create’, it does give the user the option to create new supplier as well. View access does not help as it does not allow editing. Is there a way to either achieve this using permission or hide the Supplier>New menu option for this role?
