Role with full Customer & SO Access, but with Restriction

Is it possible to have a role with full access to Customer & SO records, but restrict a certain segment of Customers and SO records from that same role?

Only have 1 subsidiary.  Need a role that has full access to all customers and sales orders with the exception of those that are flagged as restricted (currently searching for what that flag should be and how to restrict it on the role).

Sounds like you want to implement class restrictions. You can do the same with departments.

Just circling back to update – Segment restrictions (by class, location, or department) do not work on the Customer record – only transactions.  This has proven to be challenging and we still do not have a solution.  I’m surprised NetSuite doesn’t have a solution for this since it seems like it would be a fairly common request to have a customer list filtered to locations or class.
