Retrieve tracking numbers for external metrics display

Hello NetSuite Pros!

We recently migrated to NetSuite (from a very outdated ERP), and I am looking to get some love metrics displays set up in our plant.

In short, I want to display the number of boxes shipped/day on a display in our shipping department.  I did this before with a raspberry pi and an API called from a React app. Looped through all the tracking numbers with the current date to get number of boxes.

Is something similar possible with Netsuite? I’ve tried to research, but the amount of documentation and types of scripts are a bit overwhelming for a noob such as myself.  Any help/point in the right direction would be so helpful! Thanks in advance and looking forward to becoming a part of your community.
