Report shows data in NS, but emails with this: There is no data available for the date/period selected.

We have a report whose output has been mailed to team members for a couple of years with expected results. Starting Jan 1, instead of report results, we receive:
There is no data available for the date/period selected.
If I access the report within NetSuite, it is working fine.

Check the report criteria and the report schedule itself. Sometimes you can setup different criteria in the schedule and so running the report in NetSuite doesn’t show you what it will look like when it goes out as scheduled, especially if you’ve changed the report subsequent to setting the report schedule. My other thought is if you are setting some criteria in the filter footer of your report. The report filters are “sticky” meaning those values are saved and input automatically the next time you run the report (but just for you), so for instance if the report itself says to run for the current year, but in the filter area you’ve selected last year, the report schedule is going to run with the current year, even though every time you run it it shows last year. As a test you could log out and clear your cache, or use a different browser you haven’t logged into NetSuite from and see if the report runs differently than you’ve been seeing it previously.
I have seen cases where the schedules get corrupted and you just have to recreate them all, but given that this happened crossing the year, I’m guessing you have some criteria on your report or the schedule that is pointing to the wrong period.

It was the schedule, and we had to recreate it to get it working again.
