Problem deleting an item fulfillment through Postman

Hello,

I am trying to delete an item fulfillment through Postman with the following url:

Method: DELETE
https://<AccountID>.suitetalk.api.netsuite.com/services/rest/record/v1/itemFulfillment/<IDItemFulfillment>

This instruction works for me if I use OAuth 1.0 (it clears the itemfulfillment). But if in Postman I use OAuth 2.0 (using the token) it gives me a positive response (204) but it does not eliminate the Itemfulfillment

I have Administrator permissions on the account and on the integration.

What could be wrong?

You’re getting a success message (204 No Content) when deleting item fulfillments in NetSuite with Postman using OAuth 2.0, but the items aren’t actually getting deleted.

Here’s why this might happen:

Token Permissions: Double-check your OAuth 2.0 token’s permissions. Even though you have admin access, the token itself might lack the specific “Delete” permission for item fulfillments.

SuiteScript Code: NetSuite might have custom code (SuiteScript) that runs when deleting item fulfillments. This code could be interfering with the deletion process triggered by your request.

NetSuite Configuration: In rare cases, specific NetSuite settings might affect DELETE functionality. Check NetSuite documentation or support for known issues related to deleting item fulfillments via the REST API with OAuth 2.0.

Postman Configuration: Less likely, but your Postman request might be missing something. Review your DELETE request and ensure it has the correct headers (like authorization with the token) and any required body format.

To troubleshoot:

Verify your token’s permissions for deleting item fulfillments.

Try a test deletion using basic authentication (username/password) in Postman. If that works, it suggests an issue with the token’s permissions.

By checking these potential causes, you should be able to fix the deletion issue and successfully remove item fulfillments using OAuth 2.0 in Postman.
