Netsuite Sales Order Promo Code Sync

Hey, I hope you are doing well.

During the creation of a sales order in NetSuite from Magento, what I want is to apply a promo code if it is returned via the Magento order API. The only solution I have found is to set the netsuite internal ID of that already created promo code on the sales order, and then it will be automatically applied to that sales order. Is there any other way for that, like without setting the internal ID on the sales order or auto sync like that?
