Is there a vendor canvassing feature in NetSuite?
Aside from the Request for Quote feature, is there a feature in NetSuite where vendor canvassing can be done? For example, before entering a purchase order(either from a purchase request or directly to PO), prices from different vendors can be evaluated first? The Request for Quote feature requires you to give vendors access so what I’m looking for is without giving that access to them if possible.
If you are just looking for a simple way to contact vendors in mass with an RFQ, you could use a Marketing Campaign. Once you have a group of vendors and a campaign built, sending out new requests would be a simple and quick process.
