Is it possible: Main line transaction search – item on any line – Item subfield (category)
Trying to confirm if it’s possible to create a saved search that returns any transactions (SO) that have an item on any line that has a specific category. The requirement of main line is to allow the user to edit notes etc from the search itself. There are no results at the line level.
For the user to edit using inline editing, the saved search must be filtered to mainline = True.
You can create a bodyfield, say ‘Item Categories’, in SO. This can be populated by either workflow/script, which identifies categories of line items in SO. You can use this body field as ‘Available Filter’ in saved search.
