Invoice Line Gross Profit
Hello,
Our company needs to be able to answer the following question: “How much profit did we make on each line that we billed today.” I’m trying to create a saved search that will show me the following at a line level for all of the invoices on a given day:
- Invoice #
- Customer
- Item
- Quantity Invoiced
- COGS (actual lot cost, not an estimate)
- Amount Charged to Customer
- Gross Profit $
- Gross Profit %
I’ve contacted NetSuite support, and they tell me that this is apparently not do-able at the line level. I’m not sure where to go with this one… help!

If you look under the GL Impact located in Item Fullfilment, est.cost should be the same as COGS, if do you can use it in saved search instead.
