Error on Depreciation History when creating assets
Anyone come across this before?
Department class made as mandatory.
When creating asset record via Proposal screen the asset gets created but Depreciation History fails. Error message:
INVALID_PRECALC_FIELD_VALUE: Please enter value(s) for: Department
I see there is a department on the original transaction and on the new asset itself but I don’t know why I get this error for the Depreciation History.
Any thoughts?

Thank you. This, however, doesn’t tell me why this error occurs. In my other NS instance, I have Class as mandatory field and there is no issue with depreciation history generation. But here, despite having Dep on transaction and asset I get this error on the depreciation history processing. Netsuite bug?
