Email Capture in NetSuite

Our company used to have a feature in Salesforce where a sales rep could BCC their name in an email when emailing a lead, prospect, etc. This would then log the email in Salesforce under the activities.  We are currently using Celigo to connect the communication to NetSuite but it doesn’t work on their mobile phone. Celigo is good but the BCC route was so much easier and I was wondering if anyone had suggestions or know if this can be built out for NetSuite.

You can probably build it using an Email Capture Plugin: https://system.na0.netsuite.com/app/help/helpcenter.nl?fid=book_4286894970.html

Ryan, I’m the GM for Celigo’s CloudExtend team. Our Outlook app works on Android and iOS. Our Gmail app currently works on Android only (this is solely because Apple and Google are still sorting things out, once they do it’s code complete and will just start working).

The huge advantage of using an App as opposed to bcc is because you can associate the email with other record types (and it’s fully under your control).  We are building a new feature that automates this even further by allowing a user to check a box during the 1st attachment and all future replies in the same thread will automatically attach to the same records.
