Capture customer signature on PDF in the field
Does anyone know of a simple solution to allow customers to sign a PDF on a field technicians laptop or tablet? This would not be in NetSuite although the PDF will be attached to a sales order after signature.
To my knowledge there isn’t a great way to do this. The technicians laptop or tablet would need to create an image file. Once the image file has been created it can be uploaded to the Document folder and attached to the specific transaction; Communication > Files> Attach File or New File. To be able to do this in any user friendly manner, it would need to be scripted. Sorry there isn’t an easier method.
