Alternative BOM components
Hi Folks,
I am newbie to Netsuite.
I have experience with SAP and there is term alternative for components which can replace each other in BOM.
Ex: A1 is main ingredient, A2 is alternative. When A1 is out of stock, we will withdraw A2.
In BOM, I can define usage percentage of A1 is 100%, A2 is 0%.
In Netsuite, how can we define alternative components?

We need to create New Revision for the assembly item BOM. To do so we can make a copy of existing revision and change items and assign its effective start date. Feel free to contact us if you need additional information.
