There is no “cancellation” possible. If you do not wish to delete the Item Receipt, you will need to otherwise destroy the receive item such as by using an Inventory Adjustment.

Suitelets are stateless code executions. If you need to save data you need to write to a record of some sort. Could be a custom record, could be a JSON file, could be transaction… really depends on what your situation is.

You need to pull a search to find all Item Fulfillments where Created From is your Sales Order. The fields you seek are on the Item Fulfillment, not the SO.

Sorry my friend, that is not possible.
Best bet: add a custom field on the new item, and select the old item. This will give you a modicum of traceability and allow some reporting ability.

If I understand correctly, Subsidiary A needs to first buy the item from Subsidiary B. This is a straightforward intercompany framework-based transaction. See Help under Account Administration > NetSuite OneWorld > Automated Intercompany Management > Automated Intercompany Management Overview
Sub A now having acquired the item, it can sell it via normal means to the customer.
