RE: Send a saved search to an external recipient: How to add an external email recipient

I am trying to email a saved search to someone outside of my organization, but the email address doesn’t appear in the list.

Can someone tell me how to make the email appear in the list of available emails?

The email in question is there in the vendor’s page email, but that doesn’t seem to help.


Does anyone know how to email a saved search to an external recipient?

Is the search a vendor search and the email you need to send to is in the vendor record as a field? If so, on the Email > Recipients from Results tab you should be able to select that field as a recipient. This will send to all vendors who appear in the results of the search – they each just get the results for their matching record. I’d also suggest putting yourself on the Email > Specific Recipients tab so you also get the email (and if you’re sending to multiple vendors, your email will list all of them).

They don’t appear. I see the email in the vendor information, but it’s not an option from the list.

It’s likely not an actual email field then and might just be free text. The Email > Recipients tab only lets you select fields that are type = email address.
