Is it possible to search for Inventory Items via the SOAP API? What Type and Namespace need to be used?

Were you able to figure this out?
I’ve been picking at SuiteTalk SOAP for a couple months, but it hasn’t clicked for me yet.

There’s ample script examples for most of what I’ve needed to figure out…but not so much for NetSuite.
Would it really be so difficult for them to issue a php library with comprehensive examples?

Use an ItemSearchBasic or ItemSearchAdvanced with a filter on the type field.
