RE: Restrict GL impact for a custom sales role.
I need to restrict the GL impact view for a custom role. They should be able to fulfill and bill orders but shouldn’t be able to view the GL impact. Is this possible..? I tried changing multiple permissions under the custom role but still no luck. The center is sales center and currently the role can fulfill and bill orders which is fine but can also access the GL impact which I want to restrict.
Has anybody tried such permissions…? or if this is possible functionally..?
Off top of my head, does the role have General Ledger enabled under Reports? If not, what about allow non g/l changes, manage accounting periods and override period restrictions?
