RE: Reallocate Items Page
Hello,
I’m looking for a way to put some restrictions/controls on the reallocate item page.
When we put a sales order into pick on our system, it is done so by a check box, the sales order’s status is not updated until an actual pick has been completed, we also have a need to have reserved orders that are committed but not in pick.
The reallocate page can be used to reallocate the stock that is in pick in some circumstances.
Has anyone found a way to manage this scenario? I’m open to Workflows/Scripting as a solution
Why don’t you create the item fulfillment and leave it in a picked state. You cannot reallocate off an item fulfillment.
Though I’ve never used it, I believe you can try the “Commitment Confirmed” checkbox on sales orders columns. I believe this disallows the quantities to be uncommitted off a sales order.
We very regularly have reserve orders that are not 100% guaranteed to ever be finalised, as such we would not want these to have a fulfilment against them and it then skews our reporting options against a the pending fulfilment status.
I don’t understand your comment. If you make an item fulfillment and leave it in Picked status, the sales order status does not change. The quantities stay committed to the item fulfillment/sales order, you can see them picked on the sales order, and it is still pending fulfillment
