RE: Item Promotions Netsuite

I have defined an item promotion in netsuite . When a customer buys items listed in a saved search he well get the discount equal to 200% of price of cheapest item listed in a saved search.

The issue is that when total quantity of items in an order that belong to saved search is greater then 6 then discount applies .. I don’t want this to happen. Instead i want discount to be applied when the quantity of a single item that belongs to saved search becomes greater then 6 not combined quantities of all items greater than 6 . If an individual item has quantity greater than 6 then discount should be applied equal to the cheapest item price.

can anyone guide regarding this ?

I would imagine this would be resolved utilizing the specific items filter depending on the scope of your promotion.

What needs to be restricted is the way it is reading your criteria. Example:

Criteria: Any items on saved search, purchased in qty of 6.

Saved Search Results: Items A, B, C, D, E, F

Purchase: One of each . (Criteria reads this as valid, because this is how it was defined.

You will likely have to specify which items, you can try this VIA a list or specific items but from my impression it will still apply this discount across the board. When items are added it takes this from a pool.
